Dreams Related To Turtle
A turtle with lungs that popped
So, I had this dream the other night that, whenever I think about it, I get this deeply rooted mass of visceral, primal emotions that I can't even begin to understand. I start to panic, I get shaky, and I feel nauseous, all because of one scene in particular. To give some backstory, I'd been sick with a fever for four days and was excited and regretting having to go back to school the next Monday. As if on cue, I had a dream about doing such, except, this time, my unconscious mind elicited the help of some deeply buried part of my psyche to dredge up and image that, on the surface seems just slightly bizarre, but evokes a state of panic from me. I was in my art classroom and the teacher had a pet turtle that I was in charge of watching. Alright, cool, not a big deal, that is, until she tells me that the turtle is special.... You see, this turtle had lungs that were not exactly inside of its body. Nothing too gross, they just looked like air sacs that expanded and deflated when it breathed, no ugly veins, no weird colors, just skin. Okay, cool, so he's a little challenged, it shouldn't be a problem, and it wasn't. Until the lungs popped. Like balloons. Now, it wasn't anything gross or gory, it was just like two balloons popping, but it was still startling to dream-me. The turtle was generally fine, still breathing, but its cries were just... eerie. I felt guilty, sympathetic, scared. What would my teacher say? After all, this had happened under my watch, but, what could I have done to stop it? As I'm freaking out, this turtle just keeps crying and crying, until the teacher hears it and comes to comfort it and take it away. And that was it. Nothing else. It seems pathetic but that turtle has been on my mind since last Saturday and I can't shake this feeling of utter dread. What buried emotions or thoughts or memories were dragged up to create that image? What does it mean? What was it supposed to represent? I'm desperate for answers, so, please, help.
Seeing or encountering a turtle in your dream usually indicates a high likelihood that you would experience blessings and happiness. Despite the grim tone of your dream, a turtle is an auspicious dream symbol depicting a favorable occurrence in your life. However, your dream is telling you that you have to take care of this blessing. Do not abuse it or be unappreciative. The imagery of the turtle's lungs serves as a reminder that life is fleeting and you should learn not only to live your life to the fullest, you also need to learn how to appreciate what you have. Every little blessing, from friends, opportunities and experiences needs to be treasured because neglecting to be thankful can attract bad karma. So, when the lungs popped, it means you will become complacent. Unfortunately, this means you will lose certain opportunities or become estranged with some of your family members of friends. This time, your subconscious is warning you about paying attention to the things that matter instead of being too preoccupied about trivial things. Sometimes, if you start becoming too worldly and forget about the big picture, the problems you ignore begin to fester until they are irreparable. In that sense, the teacher refers to your elders or people wiser and more experienced than you. Learn to listen to their advice or you could be led astray. What seems important now are actually the little things if you view it in the span of a lifetime. Pride can get in the way of willingly taking advice and guidance, but they will be good for you. A lack of experience limits your knowledge and worldview, so you can benefit from the wisdom and perspective of those who have been in similar situations like yours.
A turtle losing its shell
A tortoise or turtle losing his shell because I hadn't boxed him up properly. I kept feeling fear by letting him be free that I was gonna lose him or he would get hurt. I'd ask angels before sleeping to come in my dreams with advice I needed. But I really don't understand. Thank you.
Turtles are normally thought to represent happiness and positive energy in your life. Your fears about him losing his shell or getting lost are understandable, as this represents your concern over how to maintain your present situation. Your efforts to ask the angels for help suggest the happiness is slipping from your grasp faster than you can create it. There could be someone in your life who has become or is about to get ill, possibly with a life-threatening disease or sickness. You may need to find ways to look for the good in life rather than focusing on the bad.
A turtle with a cracked shell
I dreamed i was in the garden and there was a very small turtle on my plant. I picked it up and went in the house, the underside of the shell was cracked. I fed it some lettuce. I was thinking of putting it in an aquarium, I showed it to my husband and daughter.
A turtle in dreams usually represents a long life, loyalty and steadfastness. So finding a small turtle in your garden likely symbolizes a trusted friend or companion who has remained loyal and trustworthy over the years. Perhaps you have not appreciated their support enough during all those times because you have become so used to the fact that you can always count on them when you need help. However, a turning point in your relationship may be happening soon. Specifically, the crack on the turtle's shell suggests upcoming conflict. This confidante may feel neglected and unimportant that they may start being dismissive and distant towards you. Maybe your subconscious is reminding you not to take anyone for granted and to nurture those who have always stayed by your side through thick and thin.
A turtle exploding
In my dream a turtle was exploding. Not one huge explosion, but shattering in pieces, one piece after another.
Turtles are dream symbols associated with longevity, stability and security. As such, seeing a turtle blow up or explode in a dream vision carries a negative message. You may soon face tremendous challenges which would slowly chip away your financial resources and sense of comfort. The unfortunate events may be work-related or even a possible breakdown of personal relationships. Alternatively, the shattering of the turtle into pieces may be a metaphor for your shaken-up worldview. Events in the waking world may be so unexpected and disappointing that you would begin to question your personal values and beliefs.
The image of a sea turtle by itself is the manifestation of minor troubles or difficulties you may face in wake life. Your unconscious mind may be trying to enlighten you as to some possible situations in the future that could put a damper on an otherwise peaceful, uneventful existence. Other symbols in the dream may be able to give more context to this situation, such as whether this would be related to your personal relationships or something taking place in broader society.
A turtle in general

Turtle as a pet
I dreamed I found a very small turtle, size of a quarter. I had it in my hand. I decided to keep it, and feed it. I put it in a spare bedroom and went off to find some food for it. My son didn't know it was there and opened the door. A big gust of wind came in and blew the little turtle against the wall. When I came in, I searched for the turtle. I found him. I picked him up. The top of his shell was broken to pieces, like an eggshell. He was still alive. I wanted to fix his shell.
In dreams, turtles often represent loyalty and steadfastness. Finding a small turtle, then, likely symbolizes a trusted friend or family member who has remained close to you over the years, perhaps even your son from the vision or someone connected with your son, like the parent of one of his friends. While your connection with this individual probably flourished in the past, a turning point in your relationship may be happening soon. Specifically, the crack on the turtle's shell suggests upcoming conflict. This confidante may feel neglected and unimportant, leading them to distance themselves from you. It is possible that this vision is a reminder from your subconscious to not take your friendships for granted and to invest a little more time into the relationships that have started to lose their closeness.

This dream of a power struggle could also be interpreted as a sign of your humility and forgiving nature even as it clearly shows you would do everything to protect your interests and thwart all attempts at putting you down. Because of your strong protective instincts and dogged determination to have the upper hand in every competition or any similar situation, you would gain the respect of others, especially among your adversaries, and they would think twice to mess with you next time around.

A giant turtle preventing from crossing water
In my dream I am supposed to cross a small water body. From my side I see a huge stone, supposed to climb on it and cross. But as I near it I find its a huge turtle raising its head slowly. I refuse to climb its back to cross as it might get hurt. I take a small flowery path nearby to reach the other side. Kindly help me understand this dream. This is the first time in my life I have dreamt a turtle. Thank you.
There are two main symbols in this dream which can be interpreted as follows. The water you are trying to cross represents some situation in your life that you are trying to get over. It is likely something related to emotions or feelings, and even though you know you should let it go, it is not easy. The turtle in your vision points toward this issue being connected with someone you care or worry about often, particularly a spouse or romantic partner, though it could be another close family member or friend as well. It may be that you feel the need to overcome some small hurdle so that you can feel more at peace with this person, possibly because some conflict has arisen in the past.

In either case, being happy in the face of difficult situations has likely served you well, making it easier to overcome challenges because you are not afraid to try new things. However, seeing a turtle which holds the sun above its head may indicate that your emotions are becoming a bit unstable lately which could affect your ability to make good decisions in the future. You should try to think more rationally about important choices or options instead of acting rashly.
Swimming on a turtle's back
I'm female and 22 years old and my dream was about a huge turtle in the seashore where my house is near and I saw this giant turtle. What I remember is that I swam with it with my brothers riding on the back of the turtle.
Dreaming that you or someone else is riding on the back of a sea turtle alludes to anxieties over little disruptions in your otherwise peaceful existence.
