Being with a mermaid and interacting with others

I dreamt of a witch who stole a kid, then I was looking for them, then I was pulled into the ocean by a mermaid. When we reached the bottom I waited for someone who was behind a desk with bars, she took me to get a brand new fur coat, then another threatened to let out red dye into the water which froze everything the mermaid and I made it out, but she was half-frozen on the beach. This was extremely bizarre. I need an explanation.
