| Getting your ears cut off, such as someone cutting off your ears with a knife or you bearing witness to the ear mutilation, is an indication of a falling out. Pent up feelings and unresolved issues could strain your relationship with a close friend until it snaps and ultimately severs your bond. While it may not be a permanent separation, it could still take a long time for emotional wounds to heal and to slowly repair the damaged friendship.
